Verify Chains at Offer Stage

ViewMyChain helps you verify chain information when the offer is received. We provide insight on all the properties involved, details of the agents selling them, and updates on all the key sales progression milestones.

How to use VMC to verify chain information:


1. Add your offer in Alto in the usual way. Once added, the offer information will automatically pull through to ViewMyChain overnight.


2. In ViewMyChain, select 'My Properties’, search for the listing you have received the
offer on and select the relevant property record.


3. Click the 'Offers' button to view all the offers for your listing.


4. Select the offer that you would like to build the chain for.


ViewMyChain provides automatic updates on chain links and can automatically build
chains (where available) once your potential buyers address has been added.

If your buyer is selling a property:


1. Select the 'Add' option below your listing.

2.
a) Enter the postcode of your buyers property.
b) Click 'Search’.
c) Select the correct address from the drop-down menu to verify it with OS/Land
registry data.

3. Select the selling agent from the drop-down menu.


ViewMyChain will present you with comprehensive chain information relating to your buyers property including any associated links (if applicable), details of the selling agent and specific progress updates for each property in the chain assuming they have already been proceeding.



With the information ViewMyChain has provided, you can now better qualify and understand the position of your potential buyer before making any recommendations to your client.
