Introducing Public Tasks, Chain Map Enhancements and new Email Notifications!
Transaction Types Attributes
Users can now enter information based on the 'Transaction Type' selected for their property.
Note that attributes related to Probate transactions remain private to the branch or company that added them, ensuring confidentiality (similar to contact privacy).
Attributes for other transaction types, however, are visible across the entire chain, provided users have the necessary permissions.
Note that this feature is permission-based, if you would like this feature enabled, please contact your account manager.
Public Tasks
The task feature is now accessible to a wider audience, including estate agents, both seller and buyer conveyancers, invited selling agents involved in chained properties, and client users.
Users can now assign public tasks to:
- A teammate (e.g., another sales progressor).
- An external user (e.g., a conveyancer)
Once the 'External Users' option is selected, all users associated with the selected property will appear in the assignee list. For example, if the buyer's conveyancer is using ViewMyChain, their contacts will be listed as potential assignee's.
Task Management in Calendar View

Add a Task Directly from Calendar View:
Users can now create a task directly from the calendar view by simply clicking on a date slot.

Hyperlinked Listings in Calendar View:
In the calendar view, tasks associated with a property listing will display the listing address as a hyperlink. Clicking the address will provide quick access to the associated property details.
Chain Map Enhancement
The 'Download' Chain Map feature now includes options to download either the buyer's version or the seller's version. These versions are designed to be client-friendly, concealing addresses from consumers.
This enhancement is particularly useful for:
- Sharing a clear and simplified visual with your clients.
- Sending the Chain Map with the Memorandum of Sale.
Email Notification
When a user assigns the 'Sales Progressor' to a listing, an email notification will be automatically sent to inform them.
'Due Today' Task Notifications
Users will now receive a daily notification if you have tasks that are 'Due today' or 'Overdue'. This email includes hyperlinks that provide quick access to the task details within ViewMyChain.
