Release - 19th September 2024

We are excited to announce a new feature that enables you to assign each listing with a specific transaction type. Upon selection of the Transaction Type, supplementary milestone information will be added to the listing.

  1.  Transaction Detail Enhancement

The update includes additional options that will allow you to delve deeper into the transaction type by selecting both the Title type and the Tenure. This enhancement is designed to provide you with a more comprehensive understanding of your transactions and help you to better gauge the timeline to completion.

  • You can now flag transactions as 'Freehold', 'Leasehold', or 'Commonhold', and choose the associated transaction types like 'Probate' or 'Auction'.
  • Multiple transaction types can be selected simultaneously.
  • You can also specify whether the title is 'Registered' or 'Unregistered'. Note that if left unspecified, the Title will default to 'Not Selected'.

  • Additionally, when representing a seller or a buyer in a Retirement Property transactions, you can flag transactions as 'Age-restricted' by selecting the toggle in the address bar.

  2.  Display of Tenure and Transaction Types

In the 'Chain' view, tenure and transaction information are displayed for each chain link within the green box. Transaction types are represented by initials, such as 'P' for Probate.

Hovering over the initial will reveal a description of the corresponding transaction type.

3.  Milestones according to Tenure and Transaction Types

Certain milestones are specific to particular Tenure or Transaction types. These milestones will only appear based on the tenure and transaction type associated with the listing.

For example:

  • In a Leasehold sale, you’ll see the 'Management Pack Requested' milestone, which will not appear in a Freehold transaction.
  • Similarly, in a Probate transaction, the 'Grant of Probate 'Returned' milestone will be displayed, but it will not show for other transaction types.

4.  Upfront and Transaction-Related Information on Listing Creation

When creating a new listing, you can now specify the tenure, transaction types, and other relevant details, which will be displayed on the listing’s detail page.

Make the most of this release and improve your process with the new features now at your disposal!
