Introducing new filter options, an improved contact invite flow, and enhanced auto-populate features!
New Law Firm Filter
You can now filter Listings by 'Law Firm', which refers to the Conveyancer Company assigned to each transaction.
The results will display Listings from the logged-in user's branches where either the seller’s or buyer’s Conveyancer Company matches the selected Law Firm.
New Case Handler Filter
Additionally, you can now filter Listings by 'Case Handler', referring to the Conveyancer contact(s) assigned to each listing.
Results will include Listings where the selected contact is assigned as either the seller or buyer Conveyancer contact.
Existing Feature Enhancements
Transaction Types Attributes
You can now enter information based on the 'Transaction Type' selected for their property.
Note that attributes related to Probate transactions remain private to the branch or company that added them, ensuring confidentiality (similar to contact privacy).
Attributes for other transaction types, however, are visible across the entire chain, provided users have the necessary permissions.

Improvement to Contact Invite Flow
The Conveyancer and Selling Agent invite flow process has been simplified to allow more flexibility when inviting third parties to ViewMyChain.
Auto-Populate Enhancements
- When creating a buyer/seller conveyancer contact, VMC now auto-populates the relevant conveyancer company.
- When creating a selling agent contact, VMC now auto-populates the associated agent branch.
Tooltip Explanation for ‘Unknown’ Buyers
A tooltip has been added next to buyers marked as ‘Unknown’ in the 'Offer detail' area to prevent uncertainty regarding the label.
Branch Filter Now Available for Additional User Types
The 'Branch filter', previously only visible to Agent users, is now also displayed for the following user types in the Agent View:
