Release - 20th February 2025

Introducing new Milestones, Shareable notes, Category-related Milestones and much more!

New Milestones

The following milestones have been added and will now be visible on your Listings in VMC:

  • Release of Funds (Funding category)
  • Additional Enquiries Raised (Enquiries category)
  • Additional Enquiries Answered (Enquiries category)

Selling Agent Contacts

You can now add Selling Agent contacts to your VMC Database for chained transactions. This is particularly useful when you obtain contact information - such as a Sales Progressors name and direct dial - making it easier to reference when needed.

The Ability to Invite Selling Agents to VMC

This function is permission-based. If you would like this permission enabled, please speak to your Account Manager.

You can now invite Selling Agents within your chain to VMC.

What does this mean for you?

  • All agents involved in the chain will be working from the same transaction, meaning no crossed-wires.
  • Reduced need for back-and-forth phone calls.
  • Less manual data entry and fewer emails, since all parties will have access to the same information.

Ability to Send Sales Progressor’s Contact Details to Related Participants

This function is permission-based. If you would like this permission enabled and to amend the email content, please speak to your Account Manager.

When Sales Progressor is assigned to a Listing, you now have the option to share these contact details with other parties in the chain, such as the Seller or the Conveyancer. This makes it easy to send an introduction email about yourself or the dedicated Progressor, just with just a click of a button!

Simply click on the email icon next to the Sales Progressor's name and select the contact whom you would like to share the Sales Progressor contact details with.

Category-related milestones

You now have the ability to tag notes to different Milestone Groups.

The tagged milestone will appear in the corresponding milestone group which can be accessed via the new green notepad icon.

Historic notes can now be filtered by milestone group, allowing you to quickly locate notes related to specific Milestone Groups.

Public Notes

You can now make notes visible to other parties involved in the same transaction, such as the Conveyancer. Likewise, Conveyancers can create shareable notes that case handlers can see.

Public notes are marked with a ‘Public’ tag in the top right corner. Hovering over the tag will display who has access to the note.

Public notes are displayed with a ‘Public’ tag in the top right corner. When hovering over the tag, users can see to whom the note is visible.

Note: For a note to be shared with someone, they must either have an existing VMC account (Subscribed client) or have been invited to the listing before the note is shared with them.

Invite Consumer/Conveyancer Float Buttons

To make it easier and quicker for users to invite consumers or conveyancers to ViewMyChain, additional invite buttons are now floating at the top of the page.

Chain Note Enhancement

The ‘Add a Note’ button is now situated at the top of the screen to accommodate users with small screens.

Filter and Search boxes are now collapsed by default to avoid occupying too much space. A simple click will expand it and reveal the search and filter options.

We hope that these new features enhance your already smooth transactions with ViewMyChain!
