To identify your ‘open’ and ‘closed’ chains it is important to ‘Check’ (close) the top and bottom of the chain when you know there are no further chain links.
Identifying ‘Open’ and ‘Closed’ chains
From the ‘My Properties’ page, you can identify whether a listing has an unchecked chain
with red crosses either side of the house icons. Once the chain has been closed, the house icons change to a green tick.
Search Open and Closed Chains
1. Select ‘My Properties’, then click ‘Advanced’ to open the search options.
2. Select ‘Chain Status’ and choose ‘Open Chain’ or ‘Chain Complete’ this will return the
relevant results based on your selection.
Closing a Chain
1. Click ‘Close Top of Chain’ above or below the listing where you would like to close the
chain.
2. Your property chain will now appear as ‘Closed’ and you can no longer add a property
to the chain unless you click the same button again.
