How to Invite your Consumer to ViewMyChain

ViewMyChain allows you to invite your buyers and sellers to ViewMyChain. This increased transparency not only reduces the number of inbound calls, but significantly alleviates the pressure for both you and your client.

Invite the Consumer:

1.    In the ‘Search for a listing’ field from the 'My Properties' page, enter the listing                  address and select your property.

2.   Select the arrow drop-down icon under the 'Add Chain' icon.

3.   If there is no consumer contact, select ‘Add Contact’ to either select an existing                  contact, or ‘Create New’.

5.   Click the three white dots which will prompt the user 'Invite to ViewMyChain' button          to appear.


6.   Upon consumer invitation, you have the ability to enable 'Milestone Notifications'.

This means that any new milestones that have dropped into the transaction during the previous day will be captured within a 'Daily Summary' email and distributed to the client. 

The email contains a link which, if selected, will direct the user to the 'Timeline' view of their transaction within VMC, displaying a visual reference of the sale progress. This method requires no log manual log in to VMC. With this function enabled, your client can take comfort in knowing that they will always be alerted to the latest activity on the transaction.

Note: The milestone notification function is permission-based. If you would like this enabled, please speak to your Account Manager.

7.   Finally, a pop-up will appear informing you that the consumer has been invited successfully.
