How to Invite the Instructing Client to VMC

VMC not only lets you add your client to the Listing, but also allows you to invite them to collaborate directly within the same transaction. This means less back-and-forth over the phone and more time spent delivering a great service.

Start by adding the Instructing Client to ViewMyChain. This allows you to associate them to the Listing later in the process.

  1. Click on the 'Clients' tab located in the top toolbar.
  2. This allows you to create, search for, and manage your Clients. Select 'New'.
  3. Input the Client Name, the Key (which corresponds to the file reference number), the Client Relationship Manager, and select the appropriate team to associate with your client.
  4. After creating your client, you can link them to your Listing. To do this, return to your Listing in ViewMyChain and click on the white drop-down icon. 
  5. From here, you can select the Client you have just created from the 'Client' drop-down, the 'Key' will pre-populate.
  6. After selecting the Client, you can proceed to assign a dedicated Case Handler. Once a Case Handler is established, they are automatically granted access to all Listings linked to their associated 'Client'.

    To do this, simply click 'Add Case Handler'.
  7. Provide the necessary information for the Case Handler in the designated fields.
  8. Click 'Select'.
  9. If desired, click on the three white dots and select 'Milestone notification'. This feature sends a daily email to recipients, informing them about specific milestones that were updated the previous day.

     
    After completing the registration process, the Case Handler will receive an email with a link to join ViewMyChain. Once they have successfully registered, they will gain access to all Listings associated to the Client.
