The first step is defining a probate transaction in VMC which ensures you have the right fields ready to enter the necessary transaction-related information.
- Navigate to the required Listing in VMC.
- At the top of each Listing, you'll find an area containing key transaction information - such as ‘Tenure’, ‘Transaction type’, and important sale dates designed for quick reference.

From the 'Transaction Type' drop-down, select 'Probate'. The transaction type selected plays a key role in shaping the probate-related fields that appear.

Clicking the white dropdown icon reveals the ‘Additional Information’ displays relevant probate-related fields - like ‘Deceased Name’ and ‘Date of Death’.
- Click on the 'SSTC' category to reveal probate-related milestone fields.
