[How To](https://support.viewmychain.com/reapit-integration?hsLang=en#how-to) # Handle a Fall-through ## If your chain breaks or the deal falls through, you will need to follow these steps before you can re-market the property and/or add another buyer/chain. ​ ### Breaking the Chain: 1. A pop-up will appear prompting you to confirm the break. Select ‘Break Link’.  ![](https://support.viewmychain.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Dec-10-2024-11-07-37-2527-AM.png?width=526&height=226&name=image-png-Dec-10-2024-11-07-37-2527-AM.png)Once the link is removed, the property and associated information will no longer display, the final step is to click 'Mark as For Sale'. ### Switching Buyers: Marking your offer as 'Withdrawn' in Reapit will not automatically update VMC. Before you can proceed with a new buyer you must break the previous chain in VMC and click 'Mark as For Sale’, otherwise VMC doesn't know there is a new buyer and will continue to apply updates and write notes back to the original offer. ![](https://support.viewmychain.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Dec-10-2024-11-09-47-3640-AM.png?width=688&height=221&name=image-png-Dec-10-2024-11-09-47-3640-AM.png) ### **Selecting a New Offer:** Having completed the required steps to fall through the previous sale, you can now make the switch to your new buyer – remember to build their chain. 1. Make sure that your new buyers offer has been marked as 'Accepted' in Reapit. 2.
