What do VMC Tasks Mean for me?
Tasks can be managed either through the dedicated ‘Task and Message’ area or directly within the Listing you’re working on. Here, you can create new tasks and access historical ones, giving you a clear overview of what needs to be done in order to keep the sale moving forward.
This not only keeps all your sales progression in one screen, tasks created in VMC also write-back to your Reapit task system, meaning your tasks will always be accessible and visible in your CRM - a win-win!
Create a Task from the Listing
- Navigate to the desired Listing in ViewMyChain, either via the Instruction in Reapit OR the 'My Properties' page in VMC.
- On the right-hand side of the Listing, click ‘Tasks/Messages.’
- A task box will appear, automatically filtering all historical tasks related to that property. You'll see that the ‘Properties’ section is pre-selected to match the Listing you’re currently on.
- To create a task, simply select 'Create Message/Task'.
- Tick the 'Task' tick-box, this will prompt an 'Activate' date of today's date. You can amend this date if you would like the task to trigger in the future.
- Select the 'Task type' (if applicable) and enter the task content within the 'Message' text field, i.e, 'Call vendor to update on Enquiry progress'.
- Select the 'Recipient'.
- Select 'Send'.
Create a Task from the Task and Message Area
- Navigate to the the 'Task and Message' area via the tool-bar.
- To create a task, simply select 'Create Message/Task'.
- Repeat from steps 5-8 above to create your task.
Your task is now activated and can be managed from the 'Task and Message' area, or directly from the Listing.
