Contact Book at Offer Stage

The Contact Book acts as a great place to store contact information relating to not only your transaction, but links up and down the chain. You can do this at offer stage which means that the deal is set up right from the offset!

How does it Work?


  1. From the offer in Reapit, select 'Chain', then 'ViewMyChain'.
  2. Select the arrow icon on the required property.
  3. Automatic Contact Pull-Through: If a contact (Buyer, Seller or Solicitor) exists in your Reapit database and is associated with your property within the chain, this information will automatically populate in VMC. You can update these contacts in VMC, and any changes made to contacts pulled from Reapit will be pushed back to the original Reapit record.
  4. External Transactions: You can manually create a contact for properties in the chain that are not your own. Note that contacts you create in VMC will remain in your VMC database and will not sync back to Reapit.

What does this mean for me?


  • Ensure accurate Buyer, Seller and Conveyancer details sooner - no need to wait until the offer is Sold STC to verify.
  • Add contact information for links up and down the chain sooner, reducing admin work later down the line. Sales Progressors will have all the chain contact information they need upfront, meaning better communication internally and externally. 
  • Get a clearer view of the chain from the start, including all involved parties, allowing you to make an even stronger recommendation to your vendor.
