When you break a link in the chain, the property and associated chain information will no longer display. ### Breaking the Chain Link: 1. If you want to break the chain link select ‘Break Link’, if you want to keep the chain link select ‘Keep Link’. ![](https://support.viewmychain.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Sep-06-2024-09-27-14-0589-AM.png?width=478&height=155&name=image-png-Sep-06-2024-09-27-14-0589-AM.png) 4. When a chain link has been removed, the property, and any connected to it, along with any associated sale information will no longer appear.  You can now add a new property to the chain by selecting 'Add Chain’ and closing the chain again when you are ready, by selecting ‘Close Top/Bottom of Chain'’.
