Break a Chain Link

When there is a break in the chain, complete the following steps to either relist the property or to add a new link to the chain. When you break a link in the chain, the property and associated chain information will no longer display.

Breaking the Chain Link:

1. Navigate to the relevant listing in ViewMyChain.
   
   
   
   
2. Select the ‘Chain Link’ icon, between the two properties where the break has
   occurred.
   
   
   
   
3. If you want to break the chain link select ‘Break Link’, if you want to keep the chain link select ‘Keep Link’.
   
   
   
   
4. When a chain link has been removed, the property, and any connected to it, along with any associated sale information will no longer appear. 
   You can now add a new property to the chain by selecting 'Add Chain’ and closing the chain again when you are ready, by selecting ‘Close Top/Bottom of Chain'’. If you want to re-market the property click ‘Mark as For Sale’ button at the top of the screen.
