Add a Split Chain

Split chains are easy to build and allow you to have a single view of the whole chain. Whether two properties are being sold to buy one or one property is being sold with two onward purchases, VMC has it covered.

Creating a Split Chain:

1. Select ‘Add Chain’ on the property you need to add the additional property to.
   
   
2. Enter the postcode of the property and click ‘Search’.
   
   
   
   
3. Select the property address from the drop-down menu.
   
   
4. Select the agency that the property is listed with (VMC will present all available
   agents).
   
   
   
5. Select the ‘Chain link position’.
   
   
   
   ViewMyChain will provide comprehensive chain information relating to the split chain link, including any associated links (if applicable), details of the selling agent, and progress updates for each property in the chain providing that they are proceeding. (See below)
   
   
   
   
6. Click ‘Close bottom of chain’ and/or ‘Close Top of Chain’, once you are happy your
   chain is complete.
