This pop-out will appear. Click into the field below to ‘Select properties to tag’. You have the option associate the note with a specific milestone group. I.e., if you are leaving a note specifically related to the buyers mortgage application, you may tag the note to 'Funding'.  Alternatively, you may not wish to tag the note to a milestone group. ![](https://support.viewmychain.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Mar-07-2025-02-57-39-7447-PM.png?width=688&height=249&name=image-png-Mar-07-2025-02-57-39-7447-PM.png) The tagged milestone will appear in the corresponding milestone group which can be accessed via the green notepad icon on the chain view. ![](https://support.viewmychain.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Mar-07-2025-03-04-00-4080-PM.png?width=522&height=282&name=image-png-Mar-07-2025-03-04-00-4080-PM.png) Note that the note will always display in the main 'Chain Note' area, irrespective of whether the note has been assigned to a milestone group or not. 6. You can also mark the note as 'Public', meaning that the note can be made visible to other parties involved in the same transaction, such as the estate agent.  To do this, select 'Public Note', then select the party in which you would like to have sight of the note. ![](https://support.viewmychain.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Mar-07-2025-03-02-04-4195-PM.png?width=497&height=408&name=image-png-Mar-07-2025-03-02-04-4195-PM.png) 7.
